Silly Boys

My boys say and do silly things, and I love 'em!

Chase: I love peanut butter and jelly, and I love church!

Jackson (whispering): Mommy, there's a bee in here and I want it out. (It was just a fly.)

Tyler (praying): ...and for the food, and the day and help me play in Daddy's yellow car.

Chase (when asked by a nurse how he was): Not good.

Another Video Clip

I guess this is just your lucky week; 2 video clips in 3 days! The boys are just being too cute and silly though to not share these right away.

Yesterday evening the boys were playing a little game on the deck. It was cracking me up and it's amazing someone didn't end up hurt and crying.

Oh, and what is it they're saying? "Brothers and Sisters." Earlier in the day they kept saying "I love my sister and I love my hair". Where do they come up with this stuff?! I think it's time to sit them down and have a little chat about the difference between a brother and sister.

I Love My Kids

Yesterday afternoon, at about 3:30pm, Tyler wandered out of his bedroom. He'd just woken up from his nap. Instead of sleepily wandering down the hall to say hello to me, he stood in the doorway to his room and broke into song. The tune of choice? I Like To Move It, Move It.

I tried to stifle the giggles as I looked down the hall to see what would happen next. After he ran through the chorus once, he dropped his blanket at the door and walked out to the living room. I stood in the kitchen and watched him dance around the room singing the chorus over and over. Eventually he stopped and came over to say hi to me.

I love my kids. Period.

Silly Things They've Said

The boys' are talking all. the. time. right now. Seriously. All the time. They're trying out new words and repeating everything. I've contemplated calling them The Parrots from now on instead of The Monkeys. Here are a few of the funny things they've said in the last week or so (at least the funny things I remembered to write down).

Jackson, while rubbing Pop Pop's head - "Fuzzy head! Fuzzy head!"

Jackson, to Nick when he put a towel around his waist - "Daddy, you look cute!"

Chase to Nick - "Mommy has a hard time parking now." (Little punk ratted me out!)

I said to Nick that I love it when Chase raises his eye brows, so Chase raised his eye brows several times for me.

Tyler - "Daddy lawning the mow!"

Any of the boys - "Mommy, I be a good boy and stay in bed." Said, of course, when the exact opposite had happened.

Crazy kids keep us laughing with their words and their actions!

Random Silliness & Baby Birds

Random Silliness is up first!

L-R Chase, Jackson, Tyler

I just thought this picture came out kinda cool! (Chase)

Yoga with Chase. This crazy thing must be a pose, right?

Jackson likes to look at himself.

And now for some baby birds! This first one is a baby Blue Jay that was hanging out at the base of our Mulberry Tree last week. It was a treat keeping the boys away from the bird and far enough from the tree so that the mama Blue Jay didn't feel the need to buzz us.

This is a baby Robin that was sitting on our front porch yesterday! Not sure how it got there, but it was cute to look at.
