Brave Monkeys

This past winter we took the boys to one of  the many McDonald's near our home. The PlayPlace was huge. Seriously, one of the biggest Nick and I had seen! At the time, it was covered in kids (mostly bigger) and the boys were a little intimidated by the height of some of the tubes and tunnels.

A couple of months later I took them back and Tyler got brave and followed some older kids to the top. He was having a ball until he got confused and couldn't figure out how to get down. I found a 7 or 8 year old girl and asked her if she'd go up and help Ty down, which she did.

About a month ago Nick took the boys back to that same PlayPlace and they were having a great time. Towards the end though Chase and Jackson got separated at the top and it freaked Chase out. He started to cry and Nick had to send an older kid up after him. Every time we've passed a McDonald's since then Chase has announced whether or not that is the location that he got stuck and sad at.

Yesterday we returned to the scene of the crime and Chase was ready. They all were actually...

That's Chase and Jackson at the top of one of the tower climbing things. This winter and early spring the boys couldn't climb up it because they were too short. Now they scale it without any problems.

Towards the end of our play time the boys got rather silly on the slide. The picture doesn't do it justice though...

So I took a terrible quality video with my cell phone! You can hear them screaming all the way down. It was cracking me up!

LOL. I've been there... asking an older kid to get my son down. Once I had to climb up myself. NOT FUN!
