This weekend Chase asked if he could take some pictures with my camera. I let him and in the process opened up a can of worms! Now the boys always want to take pictures! Behold the work of three little photographers (using a 50mm lens that does not have auto focus, so most everything is horribly out of focus)...
Oh, and how utterly miserable does Mr. Chase look in this picture from yesterday afternoon?
I took him (along with the other two of course) to the doctor yesterday morning where he was diagnosed with a double ear infection and a nasty case of pink eye. Poor boy!

there are so many wonderful things to be said about that first photograph!
back before the twins, i was an art instructor for wee bitties. i conducted a lesson where i spent a month teaching preschoolers (3-5 yrs)ALL about photography. you wouldn't believe how incredible their EYES are. each week i would introduce a new concept and let them practice the concept in the art lab with a digital camera. at the end of the month, i printed contact sheets for each child, had them choose their favorite photo and had a critique and display of the work.
most of all i would encourage them to photograph what THEY think is beautiful. i wish i still had some of this work. it was so exceptional.
good for you for handing over the camera-- i'm excited for all of you.
All photographers gotta start somewhere!
Oh, poor Chase! Hope he's feeling better really soon. Give him a big hug for me if you dare!
At least they are having fun on the other side of the camera!
Poor Chase! I hope he feels better soon!
POOR CHASE!!!!! Hope those meds kick in FAST. Ugh. He just looks so miserable, I want to cuddle him (((hugs))).
Oh, I am so sorry for poor Chase! I hope he's feeling better soon.
Hope Chase is feeling better now.
What a great idea to hand over the camera - but I'm not sure I'm as brave as you.
