Jammies - A Giveaway!

I love fall. I love the changing of the leaves (although Kansas City has nothing on New England in that department). I love sipping a warm drink (hot cocoa, chai latte and hot cider would be my favs). I love bringing out the sweatshirts and the sweaters. Most of all though, I love wearing cozy PJs!

For the record, the boys love cozy "jammies" too! Here they are modeling their new fall/winter PJs.

I think most women will agree that warm, cozy PJs are a wonderful thing. They're even better though when they're actually cute and not ratty and worn out. When you're a mom, you often take care of your own needs last. Seeing as you won't take care of your jammie needs yourself, Karen Neuburger has offered to do it for you....

 Ta-Da!!
Just look at those gorgeous, comfy looking PJs! They could be yours! And if you don't want them, you could win them for someone else and earn some massive brownie points. The PJs retail for $78 each and one lucky winner will also win a pair of pink chenille socks (valued at $15), making this a seriously nice splurge for yourself or an awesome gift for a wife, friend, daughter or mother!

Here's the deal: Karen Neuburger is hosting "Pink Parties" at Dillard's stores around the country. The parties are to raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Each pair of KN pink jammies that are purchased at the Pink Parties will result in 30 minutes of research time at Breast Cancer Research Foundation. It is the hope of KN to fund an entire month's worth of breast cancer research. If you want to just make a straight up donation, you can do that right here.

How to Win!
  • For one entry, answer either of these questions: What is your favorite way to relax? or What is your rattiest article of clothing? (If you're a guy looking to win these for the lady in your life, be careful how you answer that second question on her behalf!)
  • For a second entry, blog about this giveaway and leave a link to your post in the comment field.
  • For a third entry Facebook OR Tweet about the giveaway including a link to this post and then let me know that you did in another comment.
Easy, huh? Contest will end at 9pm CST on Monday the 12th. Winners will be randomly selected. Winners will be announced the next morning and will have 2 days to contact me before I select an alternate winner.

Sorry to my readers outside the US - this is only available to my US readers! Don't worry though - I have something to give away tomorrow that you can win!

What is your rattiest article of clothing?
Currently my sweatpants. I still haven't lost all my baby weight and have been wearing these pants for over 15 months.

I NEED new jammies! Right now I am wearing my most pathetic article of clothing... It's a grey thermal shirt, purchased circa 1998ish. I love that it keeps me so warm, but it's oh-so-sad looking! It's even missing a button and the little strings from where it used to be just stick out and remind me I need new jammies! I sleep in it almost every night and get VERY sad when it's in the laundry.

I linked your giveaway to Facebook too!!!

I'm so darn cool :)

My rattiest piece of clothing is my favorite sweatshirt. It's just a plain grey Polo sweatshirt that is literally about ready to fall apart. I wore it cleaning one day and got bleach all over it so it is now whited spotted and holey. It is my favorite so I can't just throw it away!!! So comfy!
(And I linked you on FB)

My rattiest article of clothing has to be without a doubt, my husband's old grey sweatshirt.

He outgrew it, as it were, about 3 years ago and I took it for myself!

It is in terrible shape now, cuffs torn up and such. I never leave the house in it, but am always wearing it to bed.

Did I mention that I have ONE pair of flannel pants that I have had to sew the seams in THREE times? love those too!

I NEED new jammies! (Your boys are so cute in theirs!)

Rattiest: the t-shirts I sleep in - with the holes in the bottom and around the collars. I have pj bottoms but no tops so this would be awesome!

What do I do to relax...take a shower...alone...shave my legs, condition my hair, and spend more than 5 minutes on myself.

My favorite way to relax is to wear my rattiest piece of clothing...LOL! My rattiest piece of clothing is my beloved Iowa State sweatshirt that I bought my first semester of school in the fall of 1987! That is old!!!! It is still so soft and cuddly! Love it!

I just put you on my blog and shared it on Facebook, too! How fun! :)

My rattiest article of clothing would have to be my PJ's which consisit of very ratty t-shirts and wore out plaid pants. So embarrassing, ugh. I will link your blog to my blog in a post but I will post another comment for you about that in a little bit.

Favorite way to relax - in my pjs curled up on the couch, a blanket and a good book. That good book can also follow me into a bubble bath.

My favorite way to relax is after all the kids go to sleep get a glass of wine and watch Nancy Grace or Project runway while I read a bunch of my favorite blogs. This doesn't happen ever night though. :(

Yea! I love pj's!! My grossest outfit? Um...everything in my closet? (not kidding) but I'll go with my old blue pregnancy pants from old navy. They were handed down to me, and I love them!

My favorite way to relax is to get a good book or movie, put my jammies on, grab a warm throw and relax on the couch.

I relax by watching a good movie or a little tv, but it has to be right after i take a shower and am in comfy clothes. That's the best time.

I have a ratty old sweatshirt that I love--I wear it during the day, at night, for jammies, whatever. I can't say goodbye very well!

My favorite way to relax is a hot bath, glass of wine or hot tea, and then getting into pajamas and a robe and lounging in bed with a good book. Ooooh, I love those pajamas! I would love to win and with a new baby on the way in a few weeks, I know I'll be spending a lot of time in pajamas!

My favorite way to relax is in the water: a bath, or leisurely swimming laps, or just floating on a raft in a pool by myself - that doesn't happen often anymore :)

Or of course, NAPPING!

My rattiest piece of clothing?

My socks. I am really hard on them. It does not help I always buy cheap socks.I can't bring myself to spend much on socks. My cat Liberty will just hide them from me anyway. She is a sock hoarder!!!

I have a pair of old threadbare yoga pants with paint on the knee and an elastic about to give out. I would love new pj's.

Relax? What's that!? JUST KIDDING! I think my FAVORITE way to relax is by having a warm stone massage. But realistically...scrapbooking with a glass of wine makes me a happy, stress-free mommy!

Ok...so sadly my rattiest article(s) of clothing is/are my pj's. I have recently lost 30 pounds and I am in desperate need of some new pj's. Also, my mother has breast cancer, so anything that is a fund raiser for research is near and dear to my heart!

Super comfy orange floral knit shorts that my sister got from the Gap when she was a freshman in high school (sis is pushing 40 now), and I wear them as pj's. Love them, but the elastic has completely disintegrated, so they don't stay up so well anymore. I need new pj's! I've been reading your blog for a while, but never commented before- your boys are oh so cute!

These jammies look so comfy! I definately need a new pair. I enjoy reading and crocheting to relax.

My favorite way to relax is walking on the beach collecting shells. Uncle Bob and I just did that yesterday afternoon and we saw a little seal!!!

love to you all!

My 1996 pink plaid VS pajama have got to be my most cozy & abused pajamas. They served their purpose getting through Utah winters in college and have been cozy through my momming years but I don't think they were meant to last 13 yrs and through nursing (all the un & re buttoning have rendered then useless) 4 babies.

My rattiest article of clothing are my "work" jeans. They are an old favorite pair of jeans that eventually wore holes in both knees, in front below pockets, and worst of all under the back pocket so it is best not to bend over in them. Anyhoo... I try not to leave the house in them, but I wear them for painting, removing wallpaper, yardwork, etc., which I have been doing a lot of these days. I almost went to the store in them the other day!

Let's see, my favorite way to relax is to read a good book in my pjs, which just happen to be 1/2 of my rattiest clothing. My night time t-shirts are the worst, especially the one I have on right now. It has three frogs saying "Blud, Doe, and Ner" - which dates this shirt. It has holes in the pits and around my stomach. LOL!

My favorite way to relax is a Pedicure while drinking Starbucks while chatting with my awesome BFF who happens to be my SIL. With 5 kids between us this hardly happens anymore!

My favorite pair of pants has two patches on the tush and one in the front, but I can't stop wearing them!

Karin said...

I have several pairs of gray and pink shorts that have holes in the thighs. Obviously they can't be worn out of the house and should be in the rag bag. But they are so comfortable, I can't bear to part with them!

My rattiest article of clothing would have to be my college sweatshirt that I lounge around the house in. I just had my 10 year college reunion....so I'm sure you can use your imagination!

What is your favorite way to relax?
We go to the movie theatre that has a cry room :) We can both see a movie and be able to be out and see movies without having to worry about a babysitter and have family time together while not interupting anyone else's movie.
