For those of you wondering what happened to Saturday Savings yesterday.... Friday I decided I just didn't feel like shopping this weekend. We had enough here at home to get us through another week and there weren't any sales I just had to have. Today I'll pick up some milk and fruit at Aldi and call it good! It's nice to be able to take a break once in a while!
Today's Multiples and More Question of the Week is about fall, which I love!
Besides hunting down the cider mill with the best cider (which, in Kansas City is this one), my favorite fall activity has to be playing in the fallen leaves!
I have so many memories from playing in the leaves at my grandparents in Massachusetts. Here's a blast from the past picture for you...
That's me on the left, my brother way back in the middle (pretty much burried) and my sister on the right! I have such fun memories of playing in the leaves in that yard! When we were young we got a kick out of just running and jumping in them, and as we got older we would make "houses" out of the leaves by clearing little rooms and using leaves as the walls. I only hope I can someday bring my boys to play in those leaves some fall. My grandparents seriously have the best leaves!
Last fall Nick and I raked up some of our leaves and let the boys play in them. They weren't quite sure what to make of it. I suspect this year will be more fun as they're a little older and active now! Here are a couple of my favorite shots from last year's fun in the leaves:

When answering today's question I fogot all about piles of leaves - I'm not really sure how when it is so much fun. Maybe because we don't have many leaves in our yard. We have woods that we don't rake and pine trees.
I bet your boys will have a blast in the leaves this year!
That looks like so much fun! We live in a new development with puny little trees. It'll be years and years before we can have that many leaves in our yard! Your boys are so cute!

me too, me too! C's been dying to rake, but there are just a few leaves on the ground. He'll get a giant pile of them to jump in in a few weeks, I suspect!
grandma and grandpa's yard is completely covered in leaves!!! I rarely see that many here! boy oh boy do i miss those days!!!
Hi! Thanks a lot for visiting my blog! Your kids are beautiful! Looks like they're so much fun!!
