Eat Mor Chikin

I apologize for leaving you all hanging recently (no post Friday or Monday)! Things have been so crazy here there just hasn't been much time to get online. As a result though I have lots of great pictures and videos to blog about!

Friday late morning Nick and I loaded our little cows, I mean boys, up in the car and headed to Chick-Fil-A. Even though the boys will be 2 next month this was their very first fast food meal! Why the special occasion? Why it was Dress Like A Cow Day at Chick-Fil-A! Each person that came into the restaurant dressed as a cow (and "dressed like a cow" is used loosely - most people just had black spots taped to themselves) would get a free meal.

Nick and I attempted to take part but what little "costume" we had was pulled off by the boys while we were taking them out of their carseats. Here's what the boys looked like though (their spots didn't show up very well on camera).


They were quite excited to be in new surroundings... lots of "happy feet" as I call it (Jackson basically running in place) and excited giggles. They loved their food and were some of the only little kids to not be totally freaked out by the giant cow walking around the restaurant asking for high-fives.


For those that missed it at the top of my Saturday Savings post, I entered the boys' picture into the Chick-Fil-A "Show Us The Cow" contest. We need to get into the Top 20 so that the boys can make it to the next round for the chance to win Chick-Fil-A for a year! Even just getting into the top 20 will get them a free meal though.
