Friday afternoon we did a fun family outing! Generally our family outings consist of a trip to the park, but this time we went all out. After the boys woke up from their nap we loaded them up in the car and took them to the Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead. I don't really know how to describe this place other than to say it's a huge petting zoo/farm/park/playground... and it's free to get in! The only things you pay for are animal feed (.25 a handful), a fishing pole if you want to fish in the pond or a small bottle of milk to feed the baby goats.
Chase didn't want to leave the baby cows and Tyler didn't want to leave the baby goat pen, especially after someone gave us a bottle they were done with so we could feed a goat. Jackson was content to just run all over the place! Thank goodness Aunt Laura showed up when she did because Nick and I were having a difficult time corralling three hyper toddlers.
Here are some pictures from the fun day! Jackson is in blue, Tyler in plaid and Chase in orange.
